Strictly Come Dancing 2014 gets a taste of rock and romance as the remaining nine couples perform

So we’re one show in, and as Strictly Come Dancing 2014’s opening double bill continued the remaining nine couples took to the floor to prove they’ve got what it takes to lift that glitterball trophy.

And sure enough Saturday night’s show kicked off with the same amount of energy as Friday’s, as ex-TOWIE star Mark Wright covered up his first night nerves with a cheesy grin and bouncy shoulders for his cha cha .

With somewhat of a Westside Story meets Westlife’s Uptown Girl vibe, Mark and partner Karen Hauer’s dance was suitably entertaining and cheeky enough help us ignore that facial expression.

He even managed to throw in a few acrobatics which didn’t go unnoticed by the judges.
