Strictly Turns 11 – A Super Special Strictly Support Group Chat!

Earlier tonight (Saturday) we prepared party snacks including cake, pizza, dips, carrot sticks, fruit, cookies and popcorn ready for our Strictly Support Group chat to celebrate Strictly turning 11. We have to admit there was a lot of sugar (and some grown-up Ribena) so we were slightly over-excited. We started off our chat by sharing out some cake and other snacks πŸŽ‚πŸ•πŸŸ and asking you this:

You’ve been asked to help organise a party to celebrate Strictly’s 11th birthday. Who would you invite and how would you celebrate? Your answers were truly fab-u-lous. Here are our favourites:

The party was in full swing (Bruno had even fallen off his chair once twice!) so for our next question we asked. As an 11 year old, we’re sure Strictly would love sparkly manicures, One Direction and fashion. What would be your gift for Strictly to celebrate its 11th Birthday. Once again, your answers would have received lots of fab-u-lous Thank you Notes from Strictly. Here are our favourite suggestions:

For our next question we asked We’re like super proud Mums and Dads of Strictly Come Dancing. But after 11 years, what would be Strictly’s greatest achievement in your opinion? You surpassed yourselves to give some truly wonderful answers. Here are our favourites:

For our penultimate question we let you take a step on the dancefloor. You’re given the opportunity to recreate one Strictly routine at the party. Which dance would you choose and which costume would you wear? We loved your suggestions. Here are our favourites:

For our final question, we asked No party would be complete without a party game. Which party game would you play to celebrate at Strictly’s birthday party? You gave some wonderful suggestions, including Musical Statues and Postman’s Knock. We’d love to hear some more. Send us your suggestions, either by commenting below or tweeting @scd_support to let us know.

That ended tonight’s chat. We hope you enjoyed our party. If you missed it, fear not, you can still take part by sending us your answers to @scd_support or commenting below. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
