Reviews – @dancepicker app – an app to help you find your perfect dance and keep dancing!

We’ve all been in this situation before! You’re desperately seeking a track to fit in with your next dance performance, but your musical knowledge (or lack of it lets you down!) Well, fear not my friends! There is a new app to help find the perfect tune to suit your dance style!
The lovely creators of the Dancepicker App invited us to give it a go, so I tested it on my lovely dance-obsessed 5 year old, Bella with the help of her wonderful Ballet and Tap teacher.

I’m no technological whizzkid (Bella managed to figure out how to use my phone within 3 minutes of picking it up, it took me a year!) but this app is not only filled with great tunes for your dances, but incredibly easy to use.

You can search by title, dance style, theme and tempo to give you the perfect song for your routine and give you the edge in any competition. There are plenty of themes including Disney, Wedding, Halloween etc and you can also like and download songs through the app. The app is bright and colourful and draws you in whilst being friendly and informative:

I’m no dance expert, so decided to show it to my daughter’s dance teacher. She has a very busy term ahead with a huge Christmas recital as well as numerous exams taking place soon. Although the themes are already chosen she decided to have a look for next term’s themes, and quickly chose this for her young Tap Dancers to Charleston to (my 5 year old is being Sulley!)

She was very impressed by the choice of tunes on offer and thinks it is a must for any dancer, dance teacher or choreographer. One suggestion from her would be to have a Christmas playlist, which I’m sure the app developers will no doubt add once Christmas arrives!

My 5 year old loved it and said “I’ll use it when I’m older mummy and on Strictly!”

We’d rate this app as ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and think it deserves a 10 from Len! Dancepicker app can be downloaded from the App Store (apple.co/1LK3uMi) or from Google Play Store (bit.ly/1WhEw1d.) It costs £2.99, we were given a copy of this app free for the purposes of this review. For more information please visit http://www.dancepicker.com.

If you’ve downloaded the app already, we’d love to hear from you. Simply tweet @scd_support or comment below to let us know what you thought of it.

Keep Dancing!
