100 Sparkly Days of Strictly – Day 21

We know that Strictly is the best show on TV, but for a little fun today, we’re asking you to complete this phrase:

There are many things that define Strictly’s sparkly essence for us perfectly. For us, Strictly wouldn’t be Strictly without Sequins, Glitter and the Fabulous Pro Dancers!

Strictly truly sparkles on our TV screens in Autumn and winter. The glitter and sequins bring costumes to life and make Strictly dances glimmer and glitter in our eyes, week after week! In fact, in our house, my little girl last year asked me to guess how many sequins were on one particular dress (Georgia’s Charleston dress.)  In her opinion, there were one hundred billion million because it was super sparkly!

We also have the Sparkly Glitterball, the trophy all dancers want to get their hands on! It glimmers, glitters and shines bringing Sparkle to Saturday nights. It is mesmerising to watch and we really want one in our house *adds it to her list from Santa*

So, Sequins and glitter may spring to mind when we hear the word Strictly, however another thing springs to mind straightaway too. It’s the wonderful professional dancers. They surprise and wow us week after week with not just brilliant professional group routines, but also brilliant routines with their celebrity partners. They are supremely talented dancers, teachers and choreographers and we get excited just thinking about what they have planned next!

So those are two of the things that define Strictly’s sparkly essence perfectly. Strictly wouldn’t be Strictly without Sequins, Glitter and the Fabulous Pro Dancers. What things would Strictly not be able to live without for you? Tell us by tweeting @scd_support or commenting below. We look forward to hearing from you.
