Strictly 2016 – Farewell Daisy and Aljaz πŸ‘ΈπŸ»πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ‘ΈπŸ»

Yes, tonight’s Strictly saw Team Happy Dayz reach the end of their journey on Strictly 2016! For my little girl Bella (who was tweeting along with the results show) they have been one of her favourite couples this series, so she was understandably upset!

She asked if she could write them a little poem as a tribute to their time on Strictly! Here are the words of Bella (aged 6 1/2) on Daisy and Aljaz’s time on Strictly!

Team Happy Dayz, you made us smile

With your dances that were full of style!

Daisy was the princess who bathed in glitter

And Aljaz has been a prince and a brilliant teacher.

Your Waltz was elegant and beautiful to watch

Your Cha-cha and Quickstep were really top notch

Your Charleston and Rumba were a real treat

And your Viennese Waltz was really sweet

Your Paso Doble was full of drama

And your Salsa did not have a llama!

We’ll really miss you in Blackpool

Not just me but my friends at school.

We’re sure you’ll be forever friends

Even though your Strictly journey has come to an end!

You have been magical and lit up the ballroom floor

And we hope to see you on the tour!

I’m not as poetic as my 6 year old but I will really miss Daisy’s elegance and the way she made every dance look so easy! She was a phenomenal dancer and I will really miss her and Aljaz in Blackpool. Her kind-hearted spirit really was refreshing and I’ll miss her brilliant friendship with Aljaz too. I’m sure they’ll remain the best of friends.

I’d like this post to become a tribute to Team Happy Dayz. Leave your messages for Daisy and Aljaz below and we’ll make sure they see them.
