It’s Day 30 of my 30 day challenge and I think I need a nap right now for my final Blog Post I wanted to say a massive Thank You to everyone for reading my blog over the last 30 days. I hope you liked my posts. If you read all 30 of them, you get a massive gold star from me (it’s covered in glitter too!) ⭐️
Today, I thought I’d show you a Tango, as it’s Tuesday and that’s what mummy told me to do! I’ve chosen a Tango which has its own picture on mummy’s iPad 💃. I’ve chosen Rachel and Vincent’s Tango from 2008 (well before I was even born!) I never saw this version and don’t remember seeing Vincent on Strictly. I got to see Rachel dancing this with Kevin twice this year on the Strictly Tour, and I really liked it.
Rachel’s dress looked like a princess dress and they looked mean and moody. I can do that *pulls a paso face yet still manages to look adorable* It was full of drama (I like acting) and was Fab-u-lous. I’d have given these two a 10/10 and a sparkly Gold Star for their performance ⭐️.
Here are Rachel and Vincent with their fab-u-lous Tango. I hope you enjoy it:
I’d love to hear what you thought of that dance. You can tweet me and mummy @scd_support or comment below. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you everyone for reading my posts over the last 30 days. I really enjoyed blogging, even though it was very tiring. I hope Mummy lets me do it again soon.
Bye bye for now.
Princess Bella 👸
Thank you Bella for hosting a wonderful 30 day challenge on the blog. We’d like to relive this, so for our post tomorrow will be re-posting one of Bella’s fab-u-lous posts. Vote in this poll below to help us decide the ultimate winner and our Warm-Up Wednesday tomorrow.
Our #30daychallenge is almost over. Today, we’re having a #smoothsundaydanceoff! We’ve chosen 2 dances. You have to vote your favourite.
The youngest Strictly Fan in the household, Elodie is getting Christened today, so she’ll be getting a little wet, and hopefully singing in the rain. Today we’re showing you two dances which are performed to the same song “Singing in the Rain!” One is from this side of the pond, the other is from the U S of A. When you’ve watched them both let us know your favourite by commenting below. We’ll then reveal the winner at 7pm tonight!
Our 1st dance is from Jason & Kristina and it’s their fab-u-lous American smooth:
Our 2nd dance is a Jazz routine from Derek Hough and Bethany Mota on Dancing with the stars. We want to see this dance style on Strictly next year!
Now you’ve seen them both let us know which one is your favourite! Comment to let us know. We’ll reveal the winner at 7pm!
Bella and Cassie 🙂
It’s Saturday and the weekend! Yay! As after Z there are no more letters in the Alphabet, Mummy asked me earlier which Salsas I liked the most. I chose all of these:
I like the Salsa a lot (even when mummy makes it with green tomatoes – yuk!) because it looks lots of fun and like the people are at a party!
My favourite ever Salsa of all time is Hairy Dave and Karen’s Salsa! Although the judges were mean and only gave them 17 points out of 40 *boos* I thought they deserved a lot more points. They had lots of things going on in the dance including a parrot, maracas, spins, lots of fruit and bananas, lifts, cartwheels (which I can’t do!) and head rolls *rolls head and then feels dizzy.* They also looked like they were having so much fun and it was a birthday party! I would have given them a 10 out of 10 for effort and entertainment – take note Craig.
What’s your favourite Salsa? Let me and mummy know by commenting below or by tweeting @scd_support. We look forward to hearing from you.
I’m off to practice my cartwheels, but mummy’s back at 7pm tonight for a theatrically-themed Strictly Support Group. She hopes to see you there!
I like writing stories, so today’s blog post is a story which mummy helped me write a little a lot!
Once upon a time, in a land far far away called America, there lived a beautiful princess called Zendaya who was always smiling and happy. One day, she was invited to appear on a magical show called Dancing with the Stars where she was paired with a Russian Prince called Val. They spent many weeks in the magical ballroom, became great friends and wowed the wise judges and audience with their wonderful dancing.
Zendaya always wore beautiful dresses and one week, she wowed the judges and audience with her magical Foxtrot even scoring a 10 from Len:
She soon became the princess of the Ballroom and went all the way to the final, but didn’t win the treasured glitterball. She did win a great friend in Val and lived happily ever after in the Dancing With the Stars archives.
We’d love to hear what you thought of that magical dance. You can tweet us @scd_support or comment below. Look forward to hearing from you!
I like the colour yellow lots and lots! It reminds me of bananas which I like eating and also the sunshine which means I can go outside and play!
On Strictly there have been lots of dances with yellow costumes. I loved them all! They made me smile even more than Strictly normally does *grins like the cheshire cat.*
I did like two yellow dances more than any others on Strictly! One is Susanna and Kevin’s Viennese Waltz, because she looked like Belle from Beauty and the Beast and the other one is Trishna and Aljaz’s Jive. I really liked that dance because it looked like so much fun and there were people on rollerskates too.
Here are my favourite yellow dances as a video for you all. Mummy said it made her smile, so I hope it’ll make you smile too:
I want to know which of the yellow dances made you smile most. You can tweet me @scd_support or comment below.
Mummy says I’m very lucky, because I’ve never ever had to have an X-Ray! She says it’d make me look a little like Steve and Ola did in their Charleston! I wouldn’t mind that because I really liked that dance.
Today, x is for x-ray. I’ve chosen Steve and Ola’s Charleston, because although it wasn’t perfect, I really liked their costumes and outfits! I have pyjamas that are like their outfits! They looked like they were having lots of fun too and there were some great lifts which look like lots of fun! I might ask daddy to try lifting me like that later today.
I think they deserved higher scores! I’d have given them at least an 8 because the dance looked fun but also looked really difficult too.
Here are Steve and Ola with their tricky bone-filled Charleston. If you have a doggy, don’t let them watch it, because they might want to eat your computer which wouldn’t be good.
Let us know what you thought of this dance. Mummy asks if you found it humerus (I don’t understand what she means, I don’t think it’s funny) or not. You can tweet us @scd_support or comment below. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
It’s Tuesday and time for me to show you a Tango. I’m going to the theatre with my mummy tonight so today I decided to show you a Wicked theatrical tango which was green!
W is for Wicked
Today I’ve chosen to watch Frankie and Kevin’s Tango from last year on Strictly. I liked this tango lots because it was Wicked. Frankie and Kevin both had lots of sparkles on their costumes. I liked the music and it made me want to dance. Tangos are supposed to look grumpy (according to Mummy) and these two pulled better Paso Faces than I can pull when Mummy tells me I can’t have sweeties.
I also liked this dance because Frankie flew at the end! Strictly is magical just like Unicorns and Kevin taught Frankie to fly.
I really liked this dance, even though Frankie looked green. It was fab-u-lous. Like Donny, I’d have given them a 10 too!
Here are Frankie and Kevin with their awesome and wicked Tango. Enjoy:
I’d love to hear what you thought of that dance. Tweet me @scd_support or comment below. We look forward to hearing from you.
*Twirls round lots and lots then feels dizzy* I like spinning round lots, especially when I’m wearing my frilly skirt *spins round some more.* Don’t tell mummy I’m wearing my frilly skirt, because I’m not allowded to wear it at school! On Strictly, there’s one dance which has lots of spins and pretty dresses. It’s the Viennese Waltz.
I love the Viennese Waltz, because the dresses look pretty like princess dresses and it goes around and around and around and around.
The only bit of the Viennese Waltz I don’t like is when it makes my mummy cry. She says she’s crying because she’s happy and it’s beautiful, so I give her lots of hugs and tissues to make it all better!
Here are some of my favourite Viennese Waltzes. My favourite ever Viennese Waltz is Susanna and Kevin’s Viennese Waltz from Strictly 2013. I liked this because Susanna looked like Belle from Beauty and the Beast. It made mummy cry (a lot!) but the music was like a lullaby and it had lots and lots and lots of spins!
What’s your favourite Viennese Waltz? Let me or Mummy know by tweeting @scd_support or commenting below.
I like unicorns a lot! They’re better than horses because they fly and they look really pretty and fluffy. They’re magical too and I’m going to ask Santa for one this year.
On Strictly, there have been lots of magical moments and the American Smooth is a really magical dance, because there are lots of lifts which make us girls look like we’re flying (like a unicorn.)
Over the last 2 series that I’ve watched Strictly, I think there are lots of magical American Smooths, just like these in the video playlist below. Sometimes, it’s not just the best American Smooths which are the most magical, but the ones which are most fun to watch:
Now you’ve watched all those dances, I’d like you to let me know which is your favourite. Tweet me @scd_support or comment below to let me know.
I’m off to the farm to see some horses unicorns without horns. Have a great day!
Today it’s the weekend and it’s also Salsa Saturday. Mummy made a special salsa last night which was really yummy even thought it had green tomatos in it:
Anyway, enough about food because I’m feeling hungry. As it’s Salsa Saturday, today I need to show you a Salsa dance. I’ve picked two salsas. One was from Thom and Iveta last year and the other one was from Tom and Camilla (who judged the tour and danced this even before I was born!)
Thom and Iveta’s Salsa
When I first watched this dance, I liked it because it reminded me of when I go swimming! Mummy said it made her feel a little hot. I’m not sure what she means, because they were dancing in Autumn and it’s cold in Autumn. Maybe she was wearing too many jumpers.
I also got to see this dance on the tour and it looked like lots of fun, even if Thom did lose his top! I think Craig Revel Horwood stole it from him because he was feeling mean.
Tom and Camilla’s Salsa
I wasn’t even born when this dance was performed, but Mummy showed it to me and suggested I put it in this post. It looked amazing and was full of turns and spins. I want to dance like that when I’m older! I also like Camilla’s dress because it’s very pretty and sparkly. The whole routine was fab-u-lous and I loved it!
Now you’ve seen both dances, I’d like you to help me choose the best of the two. Just vote in this poll below and Mummy will let you know the winners just before the Strictly Support Group at 7pm. *wonders if they’ll win a glitterball or a nice prize*
I’m off now to my gymnastics class *attempts a cartwheel.* Mummy’ll be on twitter from 7pm (my bedtime) with a special Strictly Support Group. She hopes to see you there.
Bye bye for now.
