So, over the past 7 days we’ve delved into the Strictly archives and shared 7 of Katie and Anton’s finest (and classiest dances!) It’s been a week with enough Quickstep, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Jive and Salsa to make Anton leap for joy!
Today it’s the last day (#sadface) so we’re watching one of their most elegant dances ever, their American Smooth.
When this was performed at Blackpool it gave us goosebumps and had all the glamour and elegance of a Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire routine.
We shared it earlier with you on our twitter feed and hope you enjoyed it. Now we’ve reached the end of the week, it’s time to rewatch all of Katie and Anton’s dances. Once you’ve watched them, just vote in the poll below to choose your favourite. Voting will remain open until 8pm tonight and we’ll then reveal the winning dance for you all then!
It’s Friday and as we approach the weekend it’s time to chill out and feel all warm and fuzzy watching a fab-u-lous Foxtrot.
When Katie and Anton performed a cabaret themed Foxtrot in 2015, we watched on at home and may have even given them a standing ovation. We’d have loved to have seen it again (not in the dance-off but as an encore) as the whole feel of the dance was, in our eyes, west-end quality.
It had class and elegance (as did all their ballroom dances) but the performance factor for Musicals week was top-notch and Katie’s dress gave us serious dress envy *desperately seeks a feathery number even if it does make me look like Big Bird*
We loved the whole performance. If you missed it earlier, here they are again with their Foxtrot.

It may be General Election Day, but Thursdays in our house are a chance to take a Throwback and watch some of our favourite Strictly moments.
Unless you’ve been hiding under a glittery rock for the past few days, you’ll know that we’ve put one couple in the spotlight for every dance this week.
This week, that couple is Team Derbeke – Katie and Anton from Strictly 2015. On Monday, we shared their delightful quickstep, On Tuesday their dramatic tango, Yesterday we shared their dreamy waltz and today it’s the turn of their daring Jive.
Let’s face it, over the years Anton has had his fair share of celebrity who have lacked rhythm or had no dance talent, so when in 2015, he stepped out with Katie and produced this Waltz in week one, we sat staring at the TV in awe. Not only did they master challenging choreography but they performed it with skill and it was deserving of a place on the Last Night of the proms. We loved the concept of the dance and for a week one dance it was truly incredible.
In case you missed it earlier, here are Katie and Anton with their Jive. We hope you enjoy it:

It’s Wednesday and whilst we try and relieve our hump day blues by dreaming of dancing with Gorka or Pasha, today we’re reliving another of Katie and Anton’s wonderful dances.
It’s a dance that filled us with joy and made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It also gave us goosebumps from the moment we first saw it.
Anton saw himself at the top of the leaderboard for the first time in forever and it became one of the dances of 2015 for us.
Yes, we’re referring to their dreamy Viennese Waltz. We’re still a bit gutted we never got to see it in the final *stomps feet like a grumpy toddler* but are pretty sure that by watching it again today this will make up for it!

So last night we revealed the next couple to be in the spotlight as part of our Strictly Couple Weeks. Yes, we’ve chosen quite possibly Anton’s best partner ever, and the partner who got him to the final in 2015.
Every day this week, we’ll share one of Katie and Anton’s fab-u-lous dances. At the end of the week, we’ll then put them against one another in a poll at the end of the week to decide the best Team Derbeke dance of all time.
For today’s dance, we’re taking a trip down 42nd Street, and reliving their wonderful Quickstep.
Katie always looked elegant and this dance was beautiful and packed full of ballroom content. Anton is the king of ballroom and he made sure this dance was challenging, but also a showstopper of a performance.
Ok, there was a minor wardrobe malfunction *eats her hat in protest* but overall we loved this dance and it had a real flavour of Broadway and the West End.
