It is International Day Of Happiness and here at the Strictly Support Group you know that we love nothing more than a poll!
Earlier today we asked you to tell us who had been the happiest person on Strictly and which dance you considered the Happiest dance of them all. We had some great suggestions and have put them all into two polls for you to help us decide these two polls. All you need to do is vote in the polls below to help us decide:
Voting will remain open until 6pm tomorrow, when we’ll close the vote before revealing our winners at 8pm.
Here at the Strictly Support Group, we know you like nothing more than to cast your votes for your favourites, so today we had a thought. We know that last year we didn’t see a 10 until week 7, then it rained 10s in Blackpool and there after. This year, when do you think the first 10 of the series will be given? and by which judge? Simply vote in the poll below to let us know.
We’ll reveal the results during our Strictly Support Group on Saturday:
It’s Mothering Sunday tomorrow, a day for all us mums to be treated and for sons and daughters to reward us for the great work we do. So whilst we’ll be taking the day off tomorrow to spend some well deserved time with our families, tonight’s Strictly Support Group will have a Mother’s Day touch to it.
Over the past 11 series lots of mums have taken to the floor on our favourite show. We’ve seen the yummy mummies – Darcey, Abbey and Sophie to name a few, the Supermummies (combining work, dance training and being a mum) like Susanna and many more.
In true Strictly Support Group style, we’d love to find out who’s been the yummiest mummy on strictly, so have set up a poll to help us decide. Just vote in the poll below to take part. Voting will close at 9pm tonight, with the winner being revealed on here and on @scd_support tomorrow.
We don’t know about you, but in our household, Saturday nights for us are always Strictly party nights long after the series final.
Lots of dances over the years have made us want to dance along at home and have fun, from Lisa and Robin’s Cha Cha to Mark and Iveta’s Salsa. Although not always technically perfect, these dances represent the true party spirit of Strictly and make us smile.
To help us decide, earlier we put a poll on our blog, and for the first time in strictly support group history, we had a tie! 😱 This left the brains (or lack of them) behind the scenes momentarily running around like headless chickens.
We can now reveal the winning dances which make you party like it’s um…2014 (doesn’t have the same ring to it, we know!) and feel in the mood for dancing are the amazing Natalie and Artem’s Russian inspired Cha-Cha-Cha and Susanna and Kevin’s spectacular Salsa. When we saw both these dances, we were distracted by Artem and Kevin’s chests 😍 they made us smile and want to join in at home, so we can see just why you voted for them as your ultimate party dances.
So here they both are, just for you. We hope you enjoy watching them and dancing along…
The following post is an official announcement from the Strictly Support Group. Your votes have been cast, counted and verified. Please don’t vote now as your votes won’t count.
That’s the boring official part done, now onto the fun part. Earlier we asked you to vote for your favourite dance movies of all time.
We received a lot of votes, and it seems that no-one puts our group in the corner, as Dirty Dancing is what you consider the greatest dance movie of all time. Here’s a little treat from us, as our way of saying thank you for being so supportive. We hope you have “the time of your life” watching it too.
*A word of warning, we love how enthusiastic you are, however please don’t try thelift at home without any dance training.* 😉
