30 Day Challenge – Day 30 – Bella’s Final Day of Blogging and Tango Tuesday.

It’s Day 30 of my 30 day challenge and I think I need a nap right now for my final Blog Post I wanted to say a massive Thank You to everyone for reading my blog over the last 30 days. I hope you liked my posts. If you read all 30 of them, you get a massive gold star from me (it’s covered in glitter too!) ⭐️

Today, I thought I’d show you a Tango, as it’s Tuesday and that’s what mummy told me to do! I’ve chosen a Tango which has its own picture on mummy’s iPad πŸ’ƒ. I’ve chosen Rachel and Vincent’s Tango from 2008 (well before I was even born!) I never saw this version and don’t remember seeing Vincent on Strictly. I got to see Rachel dancing this with Kevin twice this year on the Strictly Tour, and I really liked it.

Rachel’s dress looked like a princess dress and they looked mean and moody. I can do that *pulls a paso face yet still manages to look adorable* It was full of drama (I like acting) and was Fab-u-lous. I’d have given these two a 10/10 and a sparkly Gold Star for their performance ⭐️.

Here are Rachel and Vincent with their fab-u-lous Tango. I hope you enjoy it:

I’d love to hear what you thought of that dance. You can tweet me and mummy @scd_support or comment below. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you everyone for reading my posts over the last 30 days. I really enjoyed blogging, even though it was very tiring. I hope Mummy lets me do it again soon.

Bye bye for now.

Princess Bella πŸ‘Έ

Thank you Bella for hosting a wonderful 30 day challenge on the blog. We’d like to relive this, so for our post tomorrow will be re-posting one of Bella’s fab-u-lous posts. Vote in this poll below to help us decide the ultimate winner and our Warm-Up Wednesday tomorrow.

30 Day Challenge – Bella’s A to Z of Strictly – W is for Wicked!

It’s Tuesday and time for me to show you a Tango. I’m going to the theatre with my mummy tonight so today I decided to show you a Wicked theatrical tango which was green!

W is for Wicked

Today I’ve chosen to watch Frankie and Kevin’s Tango from last year on Strictly. I liked this tango lots because it was Wicked. Frankie and Kevin both had lots of sparkles on their costumes. I liked the music and it made me want to dance. Tangos are supposed to look grumpy (according to Mummy) and these two pulled better Paso Faces than I can pull when Mummy tells me I can’t have sweeties.

I also liked this dance because Frankie flew at the end! Strictly is magical just like Unicorns and Kevin taught Frankie to fly.

I really liked this dance, even though Frankie looked green. It was fab-u-lous. Like Donny, I’d have given them a 10 too!

Here are Frankie and Kevin with their awesome and wicked Tango. Enjoy:

I’d love to hear what you thought of that dance. Tweet me @scd_support or comment below. We look forward to hearing from you.

30 Day Challenge – Bella’s A to Z of Strictly. P is for @Pashakovalev

It’s Tuesday & today I wanted to talk about the Paso Doble or Pandas 🐼, but as it’s mummy’s blog, I decided I’d be nice and ask her to pick today’s letter!

Here’s how our chat went earlier:

πŸ‘Έ Bella: So mummy, what does P stand for on Strictly for you?

πŸ‘© Mummy: Well it can stand for lots of things. It could stand for the Paso Doble!

πŸ‘Έ Bella: Like my favourite ever dance on Strictly from Susanna and Kevin!

πŸ‘© Mummy: Yes, like the Paso Doble, but you know mummy likes another P on Strictly!

πŸ‘Έ Bella: Yes, mummy! *jumps up and down* What is it?

πŸ‘© Mummy: Well, it’s Pasha!

πŸ‘Έ Bella: Why’s that mummy?

πŸ‘© Mummy: Well *thinks carefully* He’s our current reigning pro champion, His choreography is legendary (look at his quicksteps, paso dobles, tangos and jives!)  and he also is a lovely person, a great and patient teacher.

πŸ‘Έ Bella: I like Pasha too mummy! I even have a toy penguin named after him! 🐧 I like your answer mummy! As it’s Tuesday, what’s your favourite Pasha Tango for Tango Tuesday?

πŸ‘© Mummy: Well, I loved Caroline and Pasha’s Argentine Tango and also loved his and Kimberley’s Ballroom Tango. They had great choreography, lots of passion and drama in both routines. They were truly uh-may-zing!

πŸ‘Έ Bella: Well, mummy, I like these tangos so have made a little playlist of Pasha’s best Tangos!

Those are our favourite Pasha Tangos. Which Tango wins the vote for you? Let us know by tweeting @scd_support or commenting below. We look forward to hearing from you!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Cassie and Bella!

Strictly Support Group – The Election, Day 6!

It’s Tango Tuesday today and Day 6 of our General Election. There are lots of similarities between the General Election and the Tango. Both are filled with drama, tension and agression. They are a fight for survival of the fittest and today’ s Tango Tuesday fix is the leader of the pack! In fact, even Simba feels threatened, it was so good:

“Wow! They’re roarsome. I could never do that with my two left feet!”

Don’t fear Simba, you may not be an amazing dancer but you are an amazing hunter. Today’s candidates however are amazing dancers and this Tango IS the best tango of series 12! We’re watching Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff’s brilliant Argentine Tango from Blackpool last year.

There are several reasons we have chosen this dance as a candidate in the Strictly Support Group General Election:

1) It had more mood, atmosphere, tension and passion than Prime Minister’s question time!

2) The choreography and dancing were fab-u-lous and prize winning. When it was performed at the tour it helped them win the Strictly Tour 2015 trophy.

3) It showed what a strong partnership they were. The death drop takes skill, trust and a lot of practise. Kristina put a lot of trust in Simon and it paid off!

We loved this dance and hope you will too. Here are Simon and Kristina with their amazing Argentine Tango:

We’d love to hear what you thought of this routine. Were you team Sytina fans and would they get your vote? What made them such a strong partnership for you? Let us know by commenting below or tweeting @scd_support. We’d love to hear from you.

So Simon and Kristina join Susanna and Kevin, Gethin and Camilla, Mark and Iveta, Alesha and Matthew and Chelsee and Pasha as candidates in the Strictly Support Group General Election. Join us tomorrow for our final candidates and the start of our polling day to crown your Prime Ministers

Tango Tuesday – A Formidable, Unforgettable and Flying Routine

In a few weeks time, Britain will go to the polls for the General Election. As you will know, here at the Strictly Support Group, we know that there is no better way to decide our favourite Strictly Couples than with a poll!

In the run-up to the Strictly Support Group General Election, today’s Tango is an unforgettable, formidable, flying routine. It’s the sort of dance that words cannot describe and has gone down in history as one of the most memorable moments on Strictly.

Yes, today we’re watching Ann and Anton’s Tango. It was a dance that made us smile and was pure entertainment! If it were for entertainment alone, it deserved 10/10.

We hope it makes you smile today, so here are Ann and Anton with their Tango.

We’ll be hosting the Strictly Support Group General Election over the next couple of weeks. We’ll be asking you to vote for your favourite party/partnership who will be crowned Prime Minister & Deputy Prime Minister on Friday 8th May. Keep your eyes peeled for our Party Political Broadcasts coming soon!

We’d love to hear what you thought of today’s Tango Tuesday. Tweet us @scd_support or comment below. We look forward to hearing from you.

Tango Tuesday – Warning: This Dance Contains Feathers, Is Lots Of Fun & Is Fab-u-lous!

Now we’ve got the boring stuff out of the way, today’s Strictly fix has been chosen by my lovely little girl, Bella.

She has chosen a fun, fabulous and feather-filled dance from Jason Donovan and Kristina Rihanoff. It may have been performed before she even started watching Strictly, but when she watched it this morning, it left her smiling and looking for a feather boa to practise her moves.

When I asked her why she liked it, she told me this “it’s like a tango, but they didn’t look grumpy all the time, they looked like they were having fun, even in the grumpy bits! They also wore pink and I like Kristina’s dress, because she looks like Sleeping Beauty should look!”

Being a massive Strictly Fan, she gave it a 10/10! We think the whole dance is fun, feather-filled and fab-u-lous and would easily give it the same score. Here are Jason & Kristina with their fab-u-lous routine. We hope you enjoy it:

We’d love to hear what you thought of that routine. Tweet us @scd_support, or comment below to let us know. We look forward to hearing from you.

Tango Tuesday – A Bellisimo dance that’s toured the UK

It’s our first Strictly-less Tuesday for a few more weeks (until the People’s Strictly waltzes onto our screens) and we’re reminiscing about the wonderful tour that has just pirouetted across the UK.

There were lots of highlights on this year’s tour, but one dance brought back lots of memories and that was Rachel and Vincent Kevin’s terrific Tango. There were several reasons we loved this dance:

1) Vincent’s original choreography was superb and Kevin’s interpretation and his and Rachel’s dancing and partnership together was believable and truly fab-u-lous (it’s hard to think they’ve only been dancing together for a few weeks.)
2) The dance was full of tension and drama. At the O2, the crowd were so silent you could hear a pin drop *drops pin – ping*
3) Rachel’s dress was stunning and gave us serious dress envy.
4) Kevin’s impressions during the judges comments which were so good we wondered if Vincent had made a realistic Kevin mask. They made us smile and brought back lots of memories of Vincent on Strictly.

We loved this dance and hope you will too. Here are Rachel and Kevin with their wonderful Tango. We hope you enjoy watching it:

We’d love to hear what you thought of that dance. Get in touch to let us know. We look forward to hearing from you.

Tango Tuesday – A Tourbound Tango full of Tension & Passion!

Today, the wonderful Strictly Tour cast land in Nottingham where they will be performing for the next few days. As ever, we’ll bring you tour pics and news to keep those Strictly blues at bay!

For today’s Tango Tuesday, we’re watching a dance we’ll be lucky enough to be watching again on this year’s tour. We’re watching Rachel Stevens’ gawjus, dramatic, passionate, red and perfect Ballroom Tango. We loved this dance and are extremely happy we’ll get to see it again.

We loved this dance for several reasons:
1) Rachel’s dress, was gorgeous and gave us serious dress envy.
2) Vincent choreographed a wonderful routine (we know Kevin will choreograph just as good a routine) which Rachel danced perfectly.
3) The music was gorgeous.
4) The routine was full of atmosphere, tension and drama. It had more drama than an episode of Eastenders. *gets distracted and sings the Eastenders theme tune*

We loved this routine and hope you will too. Here are Rachel and Vincent (if you close your eyes hard enough he sort of looks like Kevin without glasses) with their wonderful Tango:

We’d love to hear what you thought of this dance. Tweet @scd_support or comment below. We look forward to hearing from you.

Tango Tuesday – we’re on the lookout for dancing Eskimos!

It may be freezing outside *shivers* but we can always keep warm dancing. One warning, if you see any eskimos around, don’t ask them for a dance. You must never do a tango with an Eskimo!

Now we’ve got the warning out of the way, today’s Tango Tuesday fix is brought to you by Flavia and Rufus Hound. When these two performed on last year’s Christmas Special, this performance warmed us up and made us smile, even if it was chilly outside.

It was entertainment gold which we have come to expect from Strictly. The choreography was great, as were the acting, dancing and music too.

We’d love to see Rufus appear on the next series of Strictly and will keep our fingers crossed it happens.

Here are Rufus and Flavia with their fab-u-lous Tango:

We hope you enjoyed watching that dance and would love to hear what you thought of it. Tweet us @scd_Support or comment below. We’re also trying to find out tips about dance we’ve learnt from songs. Let us know and we’ll make you a shortlist of our favourites.

Tango Tuesday – A Trip To The USofA

We know how a lot of you love Dancing With The Stars as much as you love Strictly, so over the next few months we’ll be showing you strictly fixes from around the world.

We’d heard lots of lovely comments about today’s Strictly fix. It is one of those moments of perfection which make you speechless. We’re watching Meryl Davis and Maksim Chemerkovsky’s amazing, intense and passionate and everything you’d want from an Argentine Tango and more. For us, it’s 1 and a half minutes of beautiful artistry and dancing.

It’s clear to see why you loved this dance. We love it too. Here are Meryl and Maksim with their terrific Argentine Tango:
